The programme included visiting Nanning No 14 Secondary School and Guangxi Medical University, Guangxi Medical Botanical Gardens, Detian Waterfall, Guangxi Teens Dramma show etc. Over 140 students joined the programme |

The Shanghai Cultural Exposure Summer Programme for DS2 & DS3 students was held. The programme included visit to Shanghai Jiangling Primary School, Shanghai Ginzhou Primary School, Chenghuang Temple, Shanghai Natural Wild Insect Kingdom and Shanghai Science & Technology Museum etc. About 100 DS2 & DS3 students and their parents attended the programme. |

The Hangzhou Cultural Exposure Summer Programme for DS2 & DS3 students were held. The programme included visit to Hangzhou Maiyuzhao Primary School, Da Guan Primary School, West Lake, Xiqi State Wetland Park etc. About 150 DS2 & DS3 students and their parents attended the programme. |

The Zhu Jiang Delta District Cultural Exposure Summer Programme for DS1 students was held. The programme included visiting Fo Shan Cultural Arts Centre, Tung Kung Science Museum, and the State Natural Protection Zone for Turtles. Over 200 DS1 students and their parents attended the programme. |

The Summer Camp for FS2 students was held at Campus II. The programmes include community visit, farm visit, group games and interest courses. Over 150 FS2 students participated the Summer Camp. |

The DS3 Students Choir, Primary Section Dancing Team and the Secondary Section Dancing Team performed in the Thanksgiving Ceremony of the Diamond Hill Home for the Aged. The Home was the first caring centre for the elderly of the HKCCCU in 1960s. |

"Logos Parents Learning Platform" was held at 7:30 pm at the school hall of the No 1 Campus. Mr Szeto Hon Ming, an experienced school worker from YWCA, delivered a talk to the parents on the topic "The link of child development and harmonious family relationship ". The talk was prepared for the parents of the DS2 students. |

Ms Cherry KO, the School Social Worker delivered a talk to the parents on the topic "Knowing your teenage kids" and "The challenges to the working parents in the new generation". The talk was prepared for the parents of the DS4 students. |

The English week has launched out this week to encourage
students to practise English more. Activities in Campus I include
English Song Contest, English Riddles, English Movie Appreciation,
Fun with Letters and Words. Programmes in Campus II include English
Patrol, Scrabble Championship, Rubik's Cube Master, Tongue Twister

Huayue Education Group visited our school to understand more about
the characteristics of Logos. They also visit school facilties and
attended class observations during their visit. |

Yew Tee Primary School, Singapore visited our school to understand
more about the characteristics of Logos Academy. They also attended
class observation and tour round the primary school campus during
the visit. |

In reponse to the parents' offer of adopting orphans
in the Sichuan earthquake devastated zones, the School Management
Committee of Logos Academy has decided to provide full sponsor to
any of these Sichuan children adopted by Logos' parents and accepted
their enrollment to any suitable grade until their completion of the
secondary education. Moreover, the Logos Parents Association has initiated
fund raising to donate durable plastic chairs to the schools
which were destroyed in Sichuan earthquake. For details please click

The Moral Education Programme Phase III has been launched. The programme theme for the primary students is "Temperance". The contents include drama performance, class-based "Temperance" competition, story ambassadors, "Timely and Orderly" games, etc. The theme for the secondary students is "Jumping out of yourself, Embracing Harmony". The contents include campus TV, toys and stationery donation, seminar "Children in Danger", and photo competition, etc. |

22 teachers headed by Mr LEE Bo Tin, the Headmaster
of the Pooi To Primary School, Macau visited our school for academic
exchange. They toured round the campus and attended class observation
during the visit. |

15 professors from the teachers colleges or education
institutes in Pan Zhujiang Delta Zones visited our school to understand
more about the characteristics of Logos Academy. A discussion
forum on "The Features of the International Curriculum",
"Characteristics of DSS School" and the "School-based
Teachers Professional Development" was held. Principal YAU and
some administrative staff of Logos took part in the forum. |

The "5th Beijing- Hong Kong Campus Dialogue"
was held at Logos Academy. The programme was co-organised by Hong
Kong Education Bureau, Beijing City Education Committee and the State
Ministry of Education, sponsored by Li Ka Shing Foundation. Students
from Beijing and local secondary students discussed the topic on "Green
Life, Green Olympics" through the electronic tele-conference.
Dr Rebecca LEE Lok Sze, founder of China Poles Museum Fundation and
Prof Gao Dengyi, Chairman of the China Science Advernture Association
gave talks to the participants in the event. About 100 guests and
students attended the Forum. |

Twelve Chinese Ethnic Minority Ambassadors and 30+ members from Chinese
Juvenile Martial Arts School visited our school under the joint programme
of the "Hong Kong Youth Consortium for Olympic Celebration".
They joined the students assembly and National Flag Rising Ceremony.
During the exchange activities, the ambassadors introduced the characteristics
of the clothing for the Chinese Ethnic Miniorities and performed dancing
and martial arts to our students. |

The 5th Anniversary Thanksgiving Ceremony will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium (No 18 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai) on 22 October, 2007 (Monday) at 8:00 pm. Ms Guo Wei, Executive Chief Officer of the External Affairs, Ministry of Religion, State Council, and Ms TUNG Cuidi, Deputy Director General of Education Science and Technology Department, Liaison Office of the Central People's Goernment in the HKSAR have kindly consented to officiate at the Ceremony. The programme contents include thanksgiving worship, choirs singing, staff and parent's sharing, students performances of the sisters schools, etc. Students and parents are welcome join to rejoice. |
