IB Examination Results

The Hong Kong Chinese Christian Churches Union Logos Academy (“Logos Academy”) provides an eleven-year “through-train” primary and secondary education. We are very proud of our IB graduates who have been striving to become inquiring, knowledgeable and caring individuals. They have also aimed to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. During their eleven years at Logos Academy, they have been pursuing their life goals built on truth, benevolence and beauty. Their growth is well observed in spiritual, moral, cognitive, aesthetic, physical and social aspects.

With concerted efforts of all Logosians, our second cohort of IB students has sat the May 2014 examination with encouraging results. The following table illustrates the overall performance of our twenty-six IB graduates:

Having received an eleven-year education at Logos Academy, our IB graduates have reached an average age of only 17 – over a year younger than the majority of IB graduates from around the world. Despite their young age, they have received highly-regarded offers from various prestigious local and overseas universities. Four of them, including Henry Chan Ho Ting, will enter university at the mere age of sixteen. Henry, who has garnered the full mark, 45 points, has been offered a place to study Chemistry at the University of Oxford in England. Two other students, Gary Ho Han Chung and Anthea Chung, have also obtained the excellent results of 44 and 43 points respectively and will study medicine in Hong Kong in September.

Congratulations to all our IB graduates, and we hope every one of them will continue to develop their potential and contribute to the well-being of mankind in the future.
