To celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the school organised a series of National Day activities under the leadership of the Principal and the national educational committee, adopting a whole-school approach. Activities included a flag-raising ceremony, a National Day address, the “National Day Claw Machine” activity and a seminar on the spirit of the rule of law. The Constitution and Basic Law Student Ambassadors played an active role in planning, promoting and leading the activities. Through themes such as the nation’s achievements in space technology, the Long March spirit, the Constitution, the Basic Law, the rule of law and national security, they encouraged fellow students to deepen their understanding of national development and cultivate national identity, patriotism, cultural confidence and civic responsibility. By learning, participating and having fun together, the whole school community celebrated National Day with pride and joy while learning to care for the country, Hong Kong and society.
