Following its recognition last year as one of the “Global Top 20 IB Schools” by an international academic body, Logos Academy has continued to achieve outstanding results in the 2026 International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Examination. The cohort produced a perfect scorer of 45 points, with an overall average of 40.7 points. Approximately 22% of students scored 43 points or above, while around 78% achieved 40 points or higher—an encouraging and inspiring achievement.
At a recent sharing session, graduating students reflected on their university plans and personal journeys. Demonstrating excellence across diverse fields, these future leaders have received offers from top local and overseas universities and are now ready to embark on a new chapter of their lives.
Choosing with Purpose, Beyond Scores
In planning their academic futures, several high-achieving students have chosen to remain in Hong Kong, enrolling in Medicine or Dentistry at The University of Hong Kong or The Chinese University of Hong Kong, with the aspiration of serving in the healthcare profession. Others have opted to pursue studies in the United Kingdom, reading Law and Science to broaden their global perspectives.
Throughout the decision-making process, these graduates displayed maturity and clear self-awareness. Ian To, who has a strong passion for Mathematics, has enrolled in CUHK’s Mathematics Enrichment Programme, hoping to pursue academic research in the future. Daniel Lai, who chose Global Communication at CUHK, shared, “Interest should always come first. We should not simply follow popular trends based on high scores, but instead pursue fields we genuinely love and are passionate about.” His words reflect the students’ calm confidence in facing the future. Beyond traditional disciplines, some Logosians have also found their direction in interdisciplinary fields. Bosco Tsang, who is interested in both Quantitative Finance and Radiology, said his motivation comes from a genuine love of learning, which he hopes to turn into professional expertise to contribute to society.
Family and School as Pillars of Support
Jan Kwok, who will soon pursue further studies in the UK, shared that both her family and the school offered steadfast support, giving her the freedom and practical guidance needed to make informed choices. Adeline Sze-To highlighted the role of the school’s “Career Planning Day” and similar initiatives in helping her better understand herself early on, enabling her to plan for the future with greater confidence.
These graduates—embodying leadership, athletic ability, and academic passion—are ready to set sail toward new horizons. Their pursuit of excellence and realization of dreams have been made possible by the strong support of both family and school, empowering each student and Logosian to walk their own path with confidence.

Logos Academy’s distinctive 11-year through-train system fosters a close-knit, family-like campus culture that leaves a lasting impression on students. Graduate Sonija Wong reflected that the strong bonds among peers and seniors were crucial in helping them overcome examination pressure: “During exam preparation, seniors generously shared past papers and helped explain difficult concepts. Their experiences, alongside the support of teachers and parents, helped us avoid many unnecessary detours.”
Beyond academic support, co-curricular activities also serve as a cradle for nurturing future leaders. Zoe Au-Yeung, who held multiple leadership roles, was deeply influenced by senior students from an early stage in both attitude and character, benefiting from the school’s holistic care culture. Together with Daniel Lai, she has passed on this spirit of “servant leadership” to younger Logosians, ensuring that this legacy continues.
Mutual Encouragement and Effective Strategies
When discussing examination preparation, Grace Lo shared that she once felt isolated while studying alone at home during study leave, but regained focus after returning to the school’s study room to work alongside peers. She developed the habit of carefully recording her mistakes and reviewing them before attempting new papers to avoid repeating errors.
Sonija Wong and Adeline Sze-To made effective use of online tools to create structured study schedules, discussing challenges through voice calls and even taking turns teaching concepts to one another, which greatly deepened their understanding. Ian To emphasized, “Interest is the best motivation. Studying subjects we love makes learning far more effective, while weaker areas require perseverance and consistent practice to overcome.”
Inquiry-Based Learning with Global Alignment
Logos Academy offers a diversified curriculum, with the IB programme emphasizing inquiry-based learning that closely mirrors university education. Zoe Au-Yeung noted that the curriculum focuses on research and teacher-student interaction, reducing the pressure of a single high-stakes examination and cultivating independent learning skills.
Jan Kwok added that IB students are required to complete a 4,000-word Extended Essay and adhere strictly to academic referencing conventions. This not only lays a solid foundation for future academic pursuits but also equips Logosians with disciplined scholarly habits before entering university.
Serving the Community with Compassion
Beyond academic excellence, graduates also shared meaningful experiences from their CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) projects. Visits to elderly homes brought them unexpected personal growth. Ian To observed that engaging with the community enhanced their communication skills across different social groups, while the smiles of the elderly brought unparalleled fulfillment and inspired them to pay closer attention to social issues.
Daniel Lai and Bosco Tsang also highlighted that planning service projects together strengthened their organizational abilities and fostered enduring friendships.
A Vision for the Future
In his closing remarks, Rev. Chan Tak Cheong, Chairman of the School Management Committee, encouraged graduates to embrace a vibrant and multifaceted university life, pursuing academic excellence while also cultivating social connections. School Supervisor Rev. Chung Ka Lok urged students to uphold integrity, and Principal Dr. Richard Lee Chak Hong echoed this message, expressing his hope that all Logosians will carry their strong moral character into the wider world, shining brightly and becoming a blessing to others.
