Six of our students went to CUHK in mid-January to conduct an interview with Professor Wan Yau Heng, Tom, to learn more about how mathematicians learn and think about mathematics. Professor Wan shared his childhood stories, how he ignited his interest in mathematics, and his thoughts on the subject. He also encouraged our students to read more books to enrich their learning outside of class.
